Our Membership year begins in January and we have a lecture each month, with the exception of July and August.  In addition to these very popular events, we also put on two Special Interest Days, at an additional charge, in our usual venue, The Michael Herbert Hall, Wilton.  These usually take the form of two lectures, followed by a sandwich lunch, after which there may be a third talk or occasionally a ‘Bring and Show’ where members may bring items of interest relating to the topic, and possibly for valuation.

There are also four Day Visits to places of cultural, art or garden interest, also for an additional charge.  Our Tours, usually 3 or 4 nights away may be to places in the UK too far for a Day Visit, or to a city in Europe.  These normally take place on alternate years.

The appreciation and enjoyment of art and culture is often enhanced when in the company of like-minded friends.  We hold a Party after the January lecture for New Members to meet each other and the Committee.  We also hold a Summer Party after the June lecture and a Christmas Party after the December lecture.  The wine flows and the delicious food provided by members of the Committee is always much appreciated.  Members are always very welcome to bring a guest to the lectures and to the parties.
